My Patients
My patients come from all walks of life and range in age from 3 to 90. They may be thought of as belonging to several groups, according to the particular needs characteristic of each group:
- Children (although I do not treat children under 3).
- Adolescents.
- Working people.
- Pregnant women and young mothers.
- Sporting people.
- Older people.
I am particularly interested in chronic illness: this is illness that has been present either continuously or intermittently for a long time. It is in the management of these problems that the great potential of Osteopathy to improve health and change lives for the better is truly demonstrated.
In fact patients who receive regular treatment over relatively long periods of time, often notice improvement not only in the complaint they first came with, but also in various other aspects of their health, some tangible, others less easily defined.
